I am a student at the University of Georgia majoring in Computer Science.

After taking AP Computer Science in high school, I have taken serious interest in developing, designing, and client-facing work. I am enrolled at the University Of Georgia, pursing a degree in Computer Science with certificates in Applied Data Science and New Media Studies. I am a rising senior looking for an internship for summer of 2021. Throughout my years taking development courses, I have learned and programmed in Swift, HTML, C++, Java, and Javascript.
With my Data Science and New Media Studies certificates, I want to be able to work with emerging technology. Whether it be in the privacy/secuity field, or elsewhere, I want to take my interest in user experiecnce, technology, and data analytics to help clients.
I have learned much about development and love coding. However, with my extroverted personality, I want to work in more client facing roles. I want to be able to use my knowledge and technical skills to further asist clients with their needs. In this case, I am looking more for Consulting, Solution/Sales Engineering roles, or Product Managment.
I have worked on dozens of projects so I have picked my favorites for you.
Make or Break inspires common college students to be productive. Coming out of high school, which contained a strict structure that helped students stay organized disappeared when coming to college. Professors are not reminders like high school teachers were, extracurriculars are all optional, and tasks are self motivated. With Make or Break, students that crave structure can now access daily motivational quotes, sleek to-do lists, and a consistent habit trackers.
Our group delegated worked between the four groups. We divided between front and back end, focusing on everyone's strength. Before diving straight into coding, we used Sketch and Invision to get a generalization of what we needed and how we were going to do it. Then, our backend and front end developers used Visual Studio Code, W3Schools, and APIs to gather images. For our different motivational quotes, we made a list on our backend that would generate the random quote with each refresh of the page. To put it all together, we hosted our website on Netlify.
My project is called Marvel Universe. In recognition of WandaVision’s release and Avenger's: End Game, the Marvel Universe has racked up tons of content. I have always been confused as to how and when all the movies and shows intertwine with each other.
This application displays a chronological viewing order of the Marvel Movies. Not only that, it provides a description of the movie, as well as displays the trailer. Another fun thing I include was the ability to randomly select a Marvel movie for you, especially since I can never decide on what to watch. For me, the hardest part of the project was trying to find a tutorial to embed a Youtube video in the app. I opt'ed to use a WebView to fix this problem.
In recent events of Asian-American Violence, I wanted to create an application that would help with finding/displaying resources. I also want to implement some sort of forum or place where you can post your thoughts on recent events, allowing those effected to get feelings off their chest.
In the future, I would love to have a generated map of places with the most violent activity, allowing users to be informed if they are traveling to those areas. A lot of the features are still pending as I do not know how to connect a database to contain the forum; However, I'm very excited to learn and see how it turns out!!
